I was at a meeting for Autism and the speaker had made a statement that those with this disorder would not understand certain statements we mean as funny. One of the statements that had many of my co-workers scratching their heads was, “30 lashes with a wet noodle 24/7″. What does that mean?

Well it is sort of a joke meaning that getting 30 lashes from a wet noodle 24 hours a day, 7 days a week wouldnt hurt at all.
I would think that he feels that they wouldnt get the humor in that, as they would take it as being struck with something 30 times every hour of the day, 7 days a week. Instead of being struck with something sooooo limp and flimsy not really hurting at all. Hope I helped.
