You sound like an ignorant spoiled brat!
Your think its a living hell, how do you think your sister feels? I’m sure it breaks her heart to hear him cry all day and not be able to do anything to comfort him. You may think that his crying is senseless but there is a reason for it, your just too stupid to understand it. Maybe you should try doing some research on what autism is so you can understand how its effecting your nephew. Maybe then you will learn to be a little more compassionate.

autism in toddlers and parents of toddlers with autism…..?

autism in toddlers:

Question by mommy to one: parents of toddlers with autism…..?
My daughter has displayed some unusual behaviors and has made me think that she might have autism. she is almost 2, no real words, does not point, does not wave bye bye, does not seem to recognize everyday items such as ball or cup, knows them but will not point them out, she still does not point to body parts and half of the time when i call her name she acts as if she doesn’t hear me at all. my question is, for those of you that have gone through this with your young toddler, where did you begin? I mean did you start by taking them to their pediatrician first? I am a little confused about what to ask and where to take her. Will her pediatrician do an autism screening or is that something that only certain qualified people can do? I just need a little assistance in where to start all this. i appreciate any help!! thanks

Found autism articles in Do you think that autism could be linked to immunization shots?

autism articles:

Question by Harmless Curiosity: Do you think that autism could be linked to immunization shots?
I’ve heard some people say that their child was perfectly normal until they received immunization shots. Some people believe this could be a cause of autism. Anyone got some good articles about this?

Best answer:

Answer by csmstargazer12
While this debate caused a minor scandal in the nineties, resulting in decreased infant immunization rates (particularly in the measles vaccine), the craze was no more than pandemic panic resulting from a widespread myth. There has been no study which has proven or even witnessed evidence of a scientific link between immunization and autism. No scientist or doctor has been able to find a genetic or medical reason for the development of autism – it is one of the least understood disorders.

What has been proven is that choosing not to vaccinate children results in sickness and death much more often than the rare or mythical complications from vaccination itself. There is no evidence, I repeat, that links autism and vaccination. People who say that their child was normal, got vaccinated, and got autism are simply witnessing the onset of autism in their child UN-RELATED to the vaccination: autism can set in at any point in life, though it is most often diagnosed in 3 – 8 year-olds.

Successful inclusion in high school is critical for achieving independence as an adult! Successful inclusion relies on flexibility of parents and educators, and their ability to work together for the sake of the student. Training, collaboration, specialized teaching, long-term planning, and a clear idea of the desired outcome for the student—these are just as

Question by momof2busybees: How Are The Autism Services In Oklahoma City Schools and/or surrounding areas?
We have a 8 yr old son with high functioning autism. We will be moving to Oklahoma in May. We prefer the Shawnee or Oklahoma city are but are willing to live anywhere close to that if they have good services. Can you tell me where the best autism services in this area are? Best schools for autism?
We want as much information as possible. Right now we live in Texas and our son is getting very good services and want to know what we are heading for.

Thanks so much

All that I know is that my son who has PDD.NOS has a friend who is MFA (at that time he is now more high functioning) that lived in Oklahoma City till age 5 and the services were terrible because his parents think the services here in DE are great and they really aren’t, they stink.

UN Serbia: What is it Like to Live With Autism?

Autism occurs in about 6 out of 1000 children, more frequently boys. Although official statistics are not available, it is assumed that there are several thousand autistic children in Serbia. This disability is not well known and diagnostic services are scarce. Access to information is limited and parents struggle to care for their children with limited support from government and from the Serbian Society of Autism.

A Look at still in diapers Autism in Why do men stray away from/or are afraid of taking care of their responsibilities when it comes to children?

still in diapers Autism:

Question by Nicegirl55: Why do men stray away from/or are afraid of taking care of their responsibilities when it comes to children?
I have a 3 year old son and I have been struggling to care for him because he has a speech delay and autism. My son father gives me money when he can but fails to understand that caring for an Autistic child is very hard on me and that I need alot more then just money from him to care for our son. Altho me and my sons father are not together I do feel like I should not be the only one going through this alone. I mean I am 25 years old, our son will be 4 this month and unfortunately he can only say 2 words, he is STILL in diapers (not pull ups), I would go on with a full page list of things he cannot do but ,,,its a little depressing.

Best answer:

Answer by Je June
When you decided to become a single parent, you have no reason to think that the father take part in parenting responsibilities.

We can require him by law to help cover the child’s living expenses but he can’t be forced to help you.

I am sorry that you’re alone, please stop churning trying to get the father to help. He is not going to help and imagining that he will is distracting you from your responsibilities.’

Reach out to other women, particularly women with special needs children. They can offer support and coping tips, also they may know of services available that you were not aware of. There may be respite care (basically well qualified sitters provided by charities or the state) or a drop in center that can help you. Also you may be able to plan weekend outings together, it’s easier to take children out with another adult.

There are lots of autism groups all around the country. Look one up an seek help and support for people who are really available instead of wishing that some one who is not going to help would have a change of heart.
